Viridian Therapeutics said Monday that Stephen Mahoney has been appointed president and chief executive, and a member of the board of directors, effective immediately.
The biotechnology company said Scott Myers’s departure as president and CEO was effective as of Friday.
Mahoney most recently served as president, finance chief and operating chief of Magenta Therapeutics.
Viridian also said that Thomas Beetham will be joining the company as operating chief, and Shan Wu will be joining as chief business officer, each of whom have worked with Mahoney in prior companies.
