\n Tyson Foods is voluntarily recalling about 30,000 pounds of its\u00a0dino-shaped chicken nuggets after some consumers reported finding small metal pieces in their patties.\n <\/p>\n

\n The recall, announced on Saturday, is for 29-ounce plastic bag packages containing frozen, \u201cfully cooked fun nuggets breaded shaped chicken patties,\u201d according to the US Department of Agriculture\u2019s Food Safety and Inspection Service.\n <\/p>\n

\n Those bags have a \u201cbest if used by date\u201d of September 4, 2024, and were sold in Alabama, California, Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, Tennessee, Virginia and Wisconsin.\n <\/p>\n

\n There has been \u201cone minor oral injury\u201d associated with consumption of the nuggets, according to the USDA, but no other reports of harm so far.\n <\/p>\n

\n But officials at the agency said they were concerned consumers may still have bags of the recalled \u201cfun nuggets\u201d in their freezers, and advised anyone who does should discard or return the product immediately.\n <\/p>\n

\n Tyson advised purchasers and consumers of recalled nuggets to cut the UPC and date code from the packaging and call or text 1-855-382-3101.\n <\/p>\n

\n Tyson did not immediately respond to CNN\u2019s requests for comment.\n <\/p>\n

\n The Arkansas-based company is the world\u2019s second-largest meat processor.\n <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
