Starton Therapeutics said it was terminating its business combination deal with blank-check company Healthwell Acquisition Corp. I.<\/p>\n
The deal, under which shares of the combined company were expected to begin trading on the Nasdaq, was announced in April.<\/p>\n

Last month, Healthwell postponed a planned meeting for shareholders to vote on the proposed business combination.<\/p>\n
The special purpose acquisition company filed for a $250 million initial public offering in February 2021.<\/p>\n
